SALA homes specialises in the supply of affordable and sustainable housing in pre-packaged format anywhere in the world. Our business vision is to demonstrate that sustainable housing can be as affordable as traditional housing models.

We believe SALA homes offers you the opportunity to build sustainable homes that are not only affordable but are attractive and practical too.

Our homes should not require air-conditioning, are eco-friendly and highly energy and water efficient.

What We Supply

Our houses include:

• An innovative range of building materials that use less energy and resources in their production than conventional building products.
• Products that allow you to become more self sufficient, such as photovoltaic solar electricity systems and passive ventilation systems.
• A range of appliances and fixtures that allow you to save money by using less energy and water.  These include water saving fixtures, and energy and water efficient appliances as required.

Who Are We?

Bruce Connell - General Manager: Bruce oversees the day-to-day smooth running of SALA Homes. He joined our ranks during the construction of his own SALA home and now works hard to ensure that the SALA experience runs smoothly from start to finish for all of our clients. Bruce works hand-in-hand with all of our managers to ensure SALA is continually moving forward and leading, rather than following, environmental trends.

 

Scott Elsom - Research & Development Director: Scott and his wife Sandie founded SALA Homes Pty Ltd and with Scott’s background in property investment and development he was the driving force behind The Green - Australia's first eco-community for seniors, based on Brisbane's southside.
Scott loves to look for better ways to do things and is particularly interested in innovations in the field of ecologically sustainable development. As a result Scott has decided to take on the challenge of being the company’s Research and Development Manager to steer SALA into the future generation of building.

Annie You - Accounts Manager: Annie brings with her the ability to do some amazing things with our numbers. As our Accounts Manager she is constantly monitoring our performance, keeping us on our toes and ensuring the company's finances are in tip-top shape. Annie is the person you need to talk to about any invoices you need to send and payments that you need to make to SALA.

 

 

Alison Orr - Sales Manager: In her new role as Sales Manager (aka Sales Chick), Alison will be responsible for making sure the sales process runs smoothly. Combining her previous sales experience with her passion for the environment, Alison cannot fail to charm you!

 

 

Julie Richardson - Office Administrator (aka Granny): Granny is the oldest member of our team and keeps everyone in order. She has a background in teaching and community work and is a champion for the environment. She will be your first point of contact when you call SALA.

 

 

Adrian Lewis - Estimator: Adrian has recently completed a Databuild course and is nearly finished a HIA Estimators course. He is an electrician by trade (in England) and has some experience with estimating and drafting. He has made a conscious career choice to become an estimator and it is an honour that he has chosen to start that career at SALA Homes.

 

 

 

SALA Sales Agents

SALA trained agents can answer all of your questions and will lead you through the process of buying and building a SALA home hand-in-hand. All our SALA agents are accredited HIA Green Smart professionals.

Wendy Kropf: Wendy is our fabulous sales consultant based in Brisbane. She brings to our company a wealth of knowledge, a passion for organic produce, alternative therapies and (of course) sustainability. Wendy moved to Australia with husband Kevin and their triplets in 2002 from Vancouver Island.

 

 

Ghis Gallo: Ghis is our enthusiastic, bubbly sales agent based in North Queensland. Ghis knows all the in's and out's of SALA having worked in our head office for almost a year, providing fabulous support to all of our staff.

 

 

 

Dianna Rivers: Dianna is our Sales Consultant for the Byron Bay, Northern Rivers and Gold Coast areas.  Dianna is passionate about sustainable living and the preservation of our natural environment.  She enjoys organic gardening and has a background in natural therapies and sales.
